this article might benefit from a 'plurality as an alterhuman identity' section[edit source]

the inclusion of plurality under the alterhuman umbrella has been contested, with even a lot of people who agree with it probably not being able to articulate why beyond 'fictives and extranths exist'. so a section discussing the controversy, and why or why not people reason that, would probably do this article some good. i have only a couple good sources for this so far:
