The only requirement to physically transform is to perfect the energy of your kintype and figure out the trigger that activates the transformation! It's actually very simple, you can't expect to transform right away as the genome of the kintype which is encoded within the soul is nonfunctional until it is perfected! :Physical shifting through magic or by activating latent genomes in your DNA sequence or anything else is not possible.
